On occasion of the Abu Dhabi Motorshow 18 - 22.12.2006 (more....) a delegation of the JE DESIGN GmbH travelled in December 2006 to the United Arabian Emirates.
The Middle East is for the JE DESIGN an extremely interesting sales market,
especially one the luxury range (AUDI A8, VW Phaeton) and the luxury SUV range with VOLKSWAGEN Touareg and AUDI Q 7.
Personal presence is an absolute must. The general manager Jochen Eckelt travelled with photographer Andreas K. Bauer and female assistant already far before the fair began, still in time to Abu Dhabi (capital of the U.A.E.) to make a photoshooting with two of JE DESIGN completely individualised AUDI Q7 at interesting locations.
and to maintain personal contacts. The first day, Jochen Eckelt and Team checked extensive in Dubai and environment for good location, in order to have an optimal starting point for the coming photo shooting
Therefor they decided for the location: desert, palace and the 7* luxury Burj al Arab.
Early in the morning at 6.00 a.m. the two Q7were ready for transport, to have the sunrise and the best conditions in the desert. In the afternoon, and/or evening then the luxury hotel Burj al Arab stood on the desire list of the photographer, in order to catch the special spirit, and to photograph into the sunset.
The photo shooting stood under no good sign. In this region the rain falls in average at the year on 3 days. In December 2006 however nearly up to 8 days at the piece!
On the first day it stopped raining at the morning around 2.00 h, and it was very changeful. On the second day we already wanted start around 7.00 h in the morning, since the transport of the black Q 7 was planned around 14.00 h to the fair according to Abu Dhabi. However it has rained on this day to approx.. 13.00 h.
Since transport was shifted to the fair however then on 18.00 h, we still had the possibility to photograph the black Q 7 in the private palace of a rich Arab.
