• VISAGE wheel set in 10.0 J x 18 inch
At the Essen Motor Show, JE DESIGN from Leingarten/Germany is presenting a further highlight from the Seat tuning range in the form of the Seat Leon Wide Body and thus once again underscoring its claim to being Europe’s leading Seat tuner.
The Leon’s series values of 180 bhp / 132 kW are already quite impressive, although JE DESIGN manages to boost the power up a notch or two. A modification to the electronic control module means that the Wide Body now generates 200 bhp / 147 kW.
An extensive styling kit gives the Seat Leon “Wide Body” a truly impressive look. A front spoiler, a matching Ram Air Intake Kit for cooling the brakes and an engine bonnet with ventilation ducts lend the Leon a striking front-on view. This is complemented by headlight covers from ABE and a set of fog lights. Helping to ensure clear vision is a set of XENON twin headlights with flasher lamp. The Seat Leon owes its name ‘Wide Body’ to the wheel arch extensions of 3.5 cm on each side.. In addition, the side view is also adorned by a set of side sills with air intake. The optics of the rear end have been enhanced with a rear valance featuring a 2-piece diffuser and matching stoplights, each with 2 LED tail lights. For greater downforce, an impressive 3-piece tiltable boot-lid rear spoiler has been fitted. The finishing touch added by this styling kit is the self-adhesive roof fin “Shark Attack”. The Leon acquires a full, satisfying sound thanks to the chrome-plated stainless steel rear silencer system with four 90-mm tailpipes. A great deal of driving enjoyment is provided by a KW Variant I coilover suspension in stainless steel. And making the Leon exceptionally sure-footed is the 2-piece JE DESIGN complete wheel set in the size 10 x 18 inch with 265/30 ZR 18 tyres.
