Engineers from Leingarten in Baden-Wuerttemberg have optimized the control unit and given the two-liter TDI engine more power. The powerful diesel in the FR now accomplishes 210 hp (154 kW) instead of 184 hp (135 kW) with a maximum torque of 430 Newton meters (series: 380 Newton meters). In the sprint, the Seat reaches the 100 km/h mark after just 6.9 seconds. The production model FR needs 7.5 seconds to get there. As with the production model, the acceleration tops out at 228 km/h.
The three-door FR with TDI engine isn't stingy when it comes to appeal. It sports its power increase proudly. JE DESIGN offers a complete aerodynamics package in carbon look. The front spoiler hugs the street, side skirts calm down the air flow and pass it on to the rear skirt insert. Two stainless steel tailpipes on both sides emphasize the sporty appearance. The tailpipes each have a diameter of 80 millimeters. The complete stainless steel muffler has an EC approval. JE DESIGN offers all aerodynamics components exclusively in carbon look. This eliminates time-consuming painting. The parts can be assembled on the vehicle immediately. Of course, these have a TÜV certificate.
Meanwhile, lowering springs provide for improved road holding and a deeper ride in the FR TDI. The Leon ducks down 30 millimeters closer to the tarmac. Whoever would like to reduce the distance to the road individually can pick up the KW coilover suspension made of stainless steel. This allows lowering the car between 35 and 65 millimeters. For the highest standards, JE DESIGN also offers the adjustable rebound and compression-damping KW coilover suspension Variant 3.
The MULTISPOKE rims are available in shadow silver, either in 7.5x18, or in 8x19 with 225/35 R 19 tires.
All parts are, of course, also available for the Leon FR in the five-door hatchback version.
